MagazineZone is a local, family-owned magazine subscription and distribution company in the Philippines. They were already operating successfully for several years when they first approached me in 2014 to redesign their website. A cursory glance on their website proved that the website was in dire need of an overhaul.
The first order of business was to refresh their company logo and pick their brand colors, instead of jumping from one shade to another. The next step was to move the website to a different host and platform that isn’t costing the client too much for a static website. I was in charge of this project from migration and redesign, to launch.
Their website has since gone through a couple redesigns since, to reflect their growth as a company. A complete departure from the from-scratch HTML website I created in 2017 that had a membership area, pictured here is the latest redesign, built on WordPress with Elementor.

MorfeusTech (Morfeus IT Consultancy) is a B2B tech startup in the Philippines focused on providing custom NetSuite solutions and IT consulting to SMEs. The company’s founder has been in the IT consultancy and NetSuite services field for a decade before he launched his own startup in 2019. When 2020 came around, they figured they needed a website.
This is where I come in. I waded in deep with the redesign of their old logo, opting for a cleaner and more future-forward look that reflects what their company does.
After helping them with the domain registration and hosting, I quickly went to work on setting up a one-page website for them so that their clients can easily find and contact them. The design below is the latest unreleased beta design of the website for 2022.

I created this back in 2021 for a small local coffee shop (name changed in this showcase) but the deal fell through. Not one to let a good project go to waste, I kept the files and designs I’ve made and decided to rebuild it on my own website.
Instead of using Elementor, I figured I’d try out a Beaver Builder to test its functionalities and compare its ease of use to Elementor. I ran into some snags here and there, but overall I was pleased with how it turned out.
